Personal Message
Hi, my name is Johannes Traa. I am an engineer and coach with backgrounds in organizational psychology and community organizing. I am passionate about empowering individuals and teams to thrive. I have found that productivity and well-being go hand-in-hand and that trust and safety are top priorities to get the most out of our time together. I'm happy to be a part of the Vanguard Voices mission.
Coaching Approach
My approach to coaching blends the rational and the intuitive. There are times when an analytical approach works best, whether it be designing habits and lifestyle changes, strategies for communication, and so on. Other times, I find it more helpful to ask oneself questions about values, identity, purpose, and vision, and work with what comes up. I also like to imbue my sessions with hope and gratitude as I have found that they have the power to carry us through struggle.
