LARA BEZERRA

Lara Bezerra was a senior executive in the pharmaceutical industry for over 27 years until 2019. She is a leader in multicultural and complex markets and has consistently delivered extraordinary results with purpose. She believes in the infinite potential that exists in human beings.

Lara's work has been featured in Forbes magazine, which mentioned her as the first Chief Purpose Officer in a CEO position. She has also been featured in several books, including "Rehumanizing Leadership: Putting Purpose Back into Business" by Sudhanshu Palsule and Michael Chavez, CEO of Duke Corporate Education, and "Zero Distance" by Prof. Danah Zohar.

During her career, Lara has worked in 7 countries on 3 continents. She was the first female leader appointed CEO of the Bayer Group in Latin America (Venezuela) and the first woman elected President of the German/Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce. She has held many other positions that have opened doors for other women.

In December 2019, Lara was the CEO of Roche Pharma (Chief Purpose Officer) in India. In 2020, she founded Workcoherence, a consulting, mentoring, and coaching company with the mission of creating more people who lead with purpose and raising the consciousness of humanity. She is writing a book about bringing coherence to life through living one's purpose. She has been a guest speaker at different MBA courses in Switzerland, India, and France, and she has spoken at various organizations and events about purpose-driven transformations and conscious leadership.

Lara believes in humans and their exponential potential when led by their purposes.

Lara's dream is to awaken more coherent leaders who care about this planet and humanity. She

wants to build a world where her children can have work as part of their lives, a world where they don't have to worry about work-life balance because they love and are proud of what they are doing. She wants them to have balance in life. Her purpose is to elevate humanity's consciousness.

Lara is married to her rafting partner. They have 3 children and live in Florida.
